INSIDE

There is a me
That you don't know.
A part of me
That will not show.
For fear or
Maybe anger too.
At your thoughts
Or just at you.
So I sit and
Stare at this.
Laughing at all
That you will miss.
I find joy
In simple things.
Like flitting about
On fiery wings.

Left here alone.

But still you sit there
And complain.

What is true pain.

But they don't see
They think I am happy

I look at me
